"Janesia was born November 29, 1997. Her admiration for dance was beautifully undeniable. She started dance when she was three and continued to flourish, in all aspects, until she passed away in 2017. Her dance career began at church; later moving on to Rejoice at the age of five. Soonie excelled in dance which opened up the gateway into another passion of hers, acting. In 2012 she began acting with Dream 7 in her first play, DUPLEXES, by Michael Walker. Continuing with both passions, in 2015, she joined private dance ensembles while taking classes and working a job. Before she passed away, she went to school to become a police officer and also received a job offer as a security guard. Janesia pursued her passions with dedication and love. Her memory lives on with us in every dance studio, theater, and everyday life with every breath we take. We will not remember how she left us but instead remember her for the actions, words, and memories that she allowed us to experience during her life."
