Spoken Word Night
Enjoy a night of Spoken word, monologues, and music as Dream 7 kicks off their1st night event of their Reflections of Blackness Series.
Saturday, February 18th @ 3pm -
"Last Chance Texaco"
Dream 7 presents a new play and the last work of our late founder, Michael L. Walker, in the form of a live staged reading of Act 1. Audience members will then have the opportunity to provide feedback and offer ideas for Act 2 which will be developed and read live the following Friday.
Sunday, February 19th @ 3pm -
"Music City Jubilee"
If you missed Dream 7's first musical last year, you now have the opportunity to watch the recording of the live event on the big screen and enjoy a panel talk back afterward. Come and see how Nashville truly became known as the Music City as we relive the true story of the Original Fisk Jubilee Singers.
Friday, February 24th @ 7:30pm -
"Last Chance Texaco"
Dream 7 presents another live staged reading of Michael Walker's last work, but this time with Act 2 that may include ideas offered by audience participants from the previous week's reading. We hope you will be thrilled to be a part of the development of Dream 7's latest play.
Saturday, February 25th @ 7:30pm -
"Showtime: Live At The Looby"
Dream 7 closes out it's Reflections of Blackness series with a community talent show. Come out and enjoy the talented Nashville community as we celebrate Black History month through live performing arts!
