"Write What You Know"
Dream 7 is proud to announce it's newest program called "Write What You Know" for any budding playwright to get their plays read by a full cast of actors. If you are new to playwrighting and would like to submit your play for Dream 7 to review and workshop, please complete the form below. If you would like to participate as a volunteer actor to help read the plays submitted, please sign up below and someone will contact you about your availability. Thank you for choosing Dream 7! What is reader's theater? Each play submitted through the "Write What You Know" program will not only be read on a live stage, but they will be performed with movement and blocking as well as with necessary props and set pieces to make the reading more theatrical. Actors will hold their scripts in hand while performing and may have some lines memorized at their own will. Dream 7 looks forward to serving the Nashville Community by helping it's aspiring playwrights to bring their stories to life! Thank you for your trust in us and for your passion for the arts!
